HoYoverse has officially announced that Version 3.7, titled “As Tomorrow Became Yesterday,” will arrive on November 5, 2025, marking the thrilling conclusion of the Amphoreous saga. Alongside the epic finale, the update introduces Cyrene, a powerful new 5-star Ice-type character, plus exciting gameplay features, events, and rewards that promise to make this one of the most memorable updates yet.
The Amphoreous Saga Reaches Its Climax
Since embarking on their Amphoreous adventure, the Astral Express crew has faced countless trials, inherited the Titan Coreflames, and intertwined their fate with the destiny of Amphoreous. Now, the stage is set for their most intense confrontation yet—a battle against “Irontomb,” the embodiment of time’s greatest adversary.
In this ultimate showdown, players will venture into the “Ruins of Time,” a desolate battlefield shrouded in mystery. Here, remnants of ancient power lie beneath the sands, including a giant sword driven into the planet’s core and the statue of Phainon, a hero who once sealed Irontomb’s might. To finally end the chaos, the Trailblazers must unlock the layers of these seals and face their destiny.
Meet Cyrene — The Ice of Remembrance
At the heart of Version 3.7 is Cyrene, the long-awaited 5-star Ice-type character on the Path of Remembrance. After accompanying the Trailblazers throughout their journey, she finally steps into the spotlight, unveiling her true past and hidden powers.
Cyrene’s abilities make her a formidable support and damage dealer:
- Skill: Deploys a “Zone” that triggers bonus True DMG when allies attack.
- Recollection Mechanic: Each ally’s action builds up her power until she can unleash her devastating Ultimate, which not only activates all teammates’ Ultimates simultaneously but also makes her Zone permanent.
- Memosprite Form: After using her Ultimate, Cyrene summons her memosprite counterpart, who can enhance allies or strike enemies with area-wide attacks. Special bonuses apply when buffing Chrysos Heir characters.
Her presence in the party amplifies overall team damage, reinforcing her as a key figure in the climactic battle against Irontomb.
New Permanent Mode: “Currency Wars”
Version 3.7 also brings a brand-new permanent gameplay mode titled “Currency Wars.” Trailblazers can form teams of up to ten characters, divided between on-field and off-field positions to create dynamic combat strategies.
When characters share the same combat type or faction, they activate unique “Bond” effects that amplify their power. The mode launches with 61 free trial characters available to all players, making it an inclusive and strategic experience for both new and veteran Trailblazers. Like “Divergent Universe,” this mode features recurring rewards and evolving challenges that will expand with future updates.
Events, Fashion, and New Content Galore
Beyond the intense battles, players can look forward to lighter, fun-filled activities. The “Snack Dash” event offers a creative racing challenge where Madam Ruan Mei’s delightful inventions compete on obstacle-filled tracks for glory.
Additionally, the new Trailblaze Fashion system debuts in this version, introducing cosmetic customization options for the first time. Players can even earn the limited headwear “Deliverer’s Wreath” for free upon completing the main story missions.
The update will also feature an animated short titled “Hello, World” and a new track, “Ripples of Past Reverie,” offering players a chance to look back at the seven-version journey that led to this epic finale.
