Honor of Kings Now Available in Tagalog: Filipino Players Get Full Localization Experience

Honor of Kings

Honor of Kings, the world’s most-played mobile MOBA, has taken a huge step closer to its Filipino community by officially adding Tagalog language support. The feature rolled out on September 24 as part of the game’s massive Honor of Kings Thrilling update, bringing both Tagalog text and voiceovers into the game.

This update is more than just translation—it’s about making Filipino players feel right at home in the world of Honor of Kings. According to Isabelle Eloriaga, Product Manager at Honor of Kings Philippines, “For us, Tagalog isn’t just a language — it’s comfort. Localizing the game makes every Filipino player feel right at home in HOK. We’re also open to exploring other Philippine languages and dialects in the future.”

How to Switch to Tagalog in Honor of Kings

Changing your in-game language is quick and simple:

  1. Tap the Settings button at the top-right of your screen.
  2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Language.
  3. Select Tagalog under both the Language and Voice sections.

(Players should note that downloading the language and voice packs will consume additional data.)

More Than Just Localization

The Tagalog option arrives alongside a wealth of new content in the Thrilling Update:

  • New Heroine: Umbrosa, the Fallen Austren
  • New Feature: Spriteling in-game companion
  • New Mode: Ultimate Awakening for high-intensity matches

These additions ensure both veteran and new players have plenty to explore while enjoying a more personalized experience in their own language.

Special Surprises for the Filipino Community

Honor of Kings also teased collaborations with popular Filipino gaming personalities Leomiho and AkoSiDogie, promising new content tailored for local fans. Updates will be shared on the game’s official social channels in the coming weeks.

A Milestone for Filipino Gamers

With Tagalog now officially available, Honor of Kings solidifies its commitment to one of its largest and most passionate player bases. From new heroes to fresh game modes, this update shows just how much the Filipino community means to the developers.

Whether you’re new to the game or a long-time player, there’s no better time to jump into Honor of Kings—this time, in your own language.
