June 24, 2025 – Honor of Kings, the world’s most played MOBA, is stepping into a bold new era with its largest update to date—introducing “Honor of Kings Plus.” This transformative upgrade brings a fully customizable Hero called Flowborn, redesigned progression and matchmaking systems, new real-time voice-to-text translation, and countless gameplay refinements—all shaped directly by community feedback.
Available starting today, the free Honor of Kings Plus update aims to redefine what a live MOBA experience can be, empowering players to take deeper ownership of their playstyle, identity, and performance.
🌟 Flowborn: A Hero Like No Other
Meet Flowborn, a first-of-its-kind playable avatar that represents you in-game. Unlike traditional Heroes, Flowborn is fully customizable, allowing players to shape their identity visually and strategically.
Key Flowborn Features:
- Customize appearance, skin tone, outfit, and unlockable cosmetics
- Create your own 2D poster with stickers, nameplates, and backgrounds
- Adaptive combat with versatile weapons and skills across lanes

Flowborn’s rollout begins with the Marksman class on June 24, with Tank and Mage variants arriving in July.

Honor of Kings Plus brings a new Highlight Moments system designed to recognize individual excellence, even if your team doesn’t win. This updated rating system now evaluates players with performance points + result points, rewarding key contributions.
Notable examples of Highlight Moments:
- Solo destroying highground + opponent’s crystal: SSS Rating
- Full-score carry: +2 Stars
- 1v9 loss but standout effort: May retain or gain Stars
- Gold medal despite loss: Star eligibility possible
The global version will include a transparent performance-to-reward system, showing how each rank tier translates into rating points and star progression.
🌐 Real-Time Voice Translation and Improved Comms
For the first time, Honor of Kings Plus adds real-time voice-to-text transcription and translation, launching with support for:
- English
- Chinese
- Indonesian
- Malay
This feature improves communication across regions and makes teaming up with global players easier and more inclusive.
🛡️ Refined Gameplay: Lane Balance and Game Flow
To improve pacing and reduce snowball frustrations, multiple battlefield updates are rolling out:
- Increased mid-lane minions for better wave control
- Removal of Central River Sprite for mid-lane balance
- Adjusted spawn times, rewards, and scaling for top/bottom lane River Sprites and Space Sprite
- Red Falcon tweaks for skill fairness
- Lowered late-game super minion attributes
- Turret shield system rebalanced
- Permanent Teleport Summoner Skill now available, with updated visuals
