HoYoverse has officially unveiled the next major installment in the beloved Honkai franchise: Honkai: Nexus Anima. First teased during the Honkai: Star Rail anniversary concert in May, this highly anticipated title brings a fresh creature-collecting twist to the series, inviting players to forge unbreakable bonds with mystical companions called Anima.
Alongside its reveal, HoYoverse has launched recruitment for the game’s first closed beta, known as the Nexus Bond Test, running on PC and iOS. Pre-registration is now open through September 12, 2025, with selected participants gaining early access to this bold new chapter of the Honkai universe.

At the heart of the experience are Nexus Battles, where Anima fight alongside players, strengthening bonds while unraveling the mysteries of the protagonist’s past. True to Honkai’s legacy, Nexus Anima carries forward the series’ high-quality storytelling and stunning artistic direction, while introducing entirely new mechanics for fans and newcomers alike.
The Nexus Bond Test: Closed Beta Details
The Nexus Bond Test will serve as the game’s first closed beta and will include:
