Hyper Light Breaker Unveils Early Access Roadmap and New Content Update

Arc Games and Heart Machine have exciting news for fans of the open-world rogue-lite Hyper Light Breaker, which recently launched in Steam Early Access. The developers have revealed the first Early Access Roadmap: Spring Edition, detailing content updates from February through April. The roadmap hints at what players can expect during Early Access, including a major content update titled “Buried Below” coming in April. The first monthly content update is set to launch on February 18, introducing a new player character, new Holobytes, gameplay improvements, and more.

Players can look forward to a steady stream of updates during the Early Access period, including hotfixes, monthly updates, and major content updates. These will bring new content and features such as Breakers, Crowns, gear, story content, secrets, and gameplay improvements. The Heart Machine team is committed to evolving the game based on player feedback, ensuring an exciting and memorable experience leading up to the game’s 1.0 launch.

The first monthly content update, launching on February 18, will introduce a new playable Breaker named Ravona, new SyComs, new enemies including an Elite enemy, new Holobytes like “Hunter’s Mark,” new Affixes, performance updates, a combat and gear rebalance, and quality of life improvements. Ravona, previously codenamed “Crow,” has been highly anticipated by the community since being revealed in the Gameplay Reveal Trailer last year.

Hyper Light Breaker is a new co-op rogue-lite adventure set in the beloved Hyper Light Drifter universe. Developed by Heart Machine, the game features a unique story fully realized in 3D for the first time. Players take on the role of a Breaker, a mercenary tasked with entering the Overgrowth. Using a combination of fast-paced hack-and-slash combat, ranged weaponry, and gadgets, players will explore procedurally-generated open worlds, uncover dark truths, and battle formidable foes. The game can be played solo or with up to two fellow Breakers.
