Polish developer Gaming Factory has officially announced the long-awaited console release of JDM: Japanese Drift Master, the open-world drifting experience inspired by Japan’s legendary car culture. The game will launch on Xbox Series X|S on November 21, 2025, followed by the PlayStation 5 version in Q1 2026.
After a successful PC run, JDM: Japanese Drift Master is finally shifting gears toward the living room, promising the same authentic drift action, refined simcade physics, and immersive open-world exploration that made it a hit among car enthusiasts.
Pre-Orders Open Soon — With a Special Drift Legend Bonus
Fans eager to take the wheel early can pre-order the Xbox version starting November 14, a week before launch. As an exclusive bonus, early supporters will receive the Akina Phantom, a sleek, unlicensed car that pays homage to a certain beloved manga and anime icon from Japan’s street racing scene.
The console edition will launch at €34.99 / $34.99 and include all post-launch updates, fixes, and improvements currently available on PC. While steering wheel support won’t be included for Xbox at launch, the team has focused on controller optimization to deliver a smoother, more responsive experience for console players.
Players can already view the game’s official Xbox Store page here.
New DLC: JDM – Made in USA Arrives This November
Before the console release, Gaming Factory is dropping brand-new downloadable content for PC players — the JDM: Made in USA DLC, launching November 6, 2025.
The DLC will feature six unlicensed cars inspired by iconic American muscle and street legends, complete with unique visual customization options that can be unlocked through gameplay. Priced at €5.99 / $5.99, this pack bridges Japanese and American automotive culture — and will also be available for Xbox players once the game launches later in November.
You can check out the DLC on Steam.
