MANILA — The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Development League (MDL) Philippines Season 4 crowned Lazy Esports as its new kings beating defending champions RRQ Kaito. In a grueling best-of-seven (BO7) Grand Finals match, Lazy Esports earned its first-ever MDL PH championship belt and denied RRQ Kaito a back-to-back title.
Lazy Esports is composed of Landher “Der” San Gabriel (EXP Laner), Jerry Ian “chovskrt” Nicol (Mid Laner), Jefferdson “kkd0t” Mogol (Roamer), Jonathan James “JamesPangks” Mendoza, Jan Carl “shizou” Valdez (Gold Laner), and Aaren Maximos “Sindel” Palomo. Jaime “Pakbet” Abalos led the team as their head coach.
Despite having their debut in the league this season, Lazy Esports recorded a near-flawless performance throughout the regular season and defeated Seasons 1 and 2 back-to-back champions Team Liquid PH Academy to punch their ticket to the Grand Finals.
Meanwhile, JamesPangks, who was also awarded All-Star Best Jungler and Regular Season MVP, earned the coveted Grand Finals MVP title and cemented his impact on Lazy Esports’ championship run.
MDL PH also recognized outstanding individual performances throughout the season, including the All-Star Team, Rookie of the Season, and Regular Season MVP awards. See the list of winners below:

MDL Philippines launched in 2023 and has become a platform for discovering aspiring professional MLBB Esports athletes nationwide. This season, the tournament held a regional qualifier to open tournaments in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
