Fans of party games have a new reason to jump back in. Developer SMG Studio, in partnership with LEGO Group and publisher Fictions, has officially released Update 1.4 for LEGO Party!, bringing fresh content, new gameplay mechanics, and more customization options for players.
The new update is available now and introduces several gameplay additions designed to make matches even more chaotic, competitive, and fun for friends and families playing together.
LEGO Party! Update 1.4 Introduces the New Bonus Bricks Feature
One of the biggest additions in the latest update is the brand-new Bonus Bricks system. After completing a Challenge Zone, players now have the option to activate Bonus Bricks, which transports everyone to a special Bonus Brick Zone.
Here, players vote on who deserves extra Golden Bricks, adding a fun new competitive twist at the end of every match. This new mechanic encourages players to stay engaged until the very last moment while also introducing more unpredictable outcomes in multiplayer games.
New 2v2 Minigames Added to Brick Battles and Minigame Rush
Update 1.4 also expands the game’s minigame variety with brand-new 2v2 team versions of several popular challenges.
Players can now team up with friends in new versions of:
- Graffeeti
- Slide Hustle
- Feeling Golfy
- Saucerlord
These team-based modes make LEGO Party! even more fun for groups who want cooperative gameplay mixed with competitive chaos.
15+ New Minifigures and Customization Options
Customization also gets a big boost in the new update. More than 15 new minifigures have been added to the wardrobe, giving players even more ways to stand out during matches.
Some of the highlights include:
- Classic Spacemen in multiple color variants
- The Alien Commander minifigure
- New wardrobe additions inspired by classic LEGO themes
This update makes character customization one of the biggest highlights of LEGO Party! so far.
New Dance Moves, Interactive Results Screens, and Language Support
Update 1.4 doesn’t stop at gameplay changes. Players will also notice several smaller but fun additions designed to make the game feel more lively.
New features include:
- Additional dance moves during the results screen
- New interactive objects in the minigame results section
- Brazilian Portuguese added as a new language option
These additions may seem small, but they add personality and variety to every match.
LEGO Party! Continues to Grow With New Multiplayer Content in 2026
With more than 60 minigames already available and support for up to four players, LEGO Party! continues to evolve into one of the most entertaining multiplayer party games currently available. Update 1.4 shows that the developers are still focused on expanding the experience with new gameplay mechanics, new characters, and more fun ways to play with friends.
If you enjoy party games like Mario Party-style experiences or just want a fun multiplayer game to play with family, now is a great time to jump back into LEGO Party! and try the new content.
