Magic Chess: Go Go Rising Stars Debuts Today, Opening Path to First International Tournament

The wait is over. MOONTON Games has officially launched Magic Chess: Go Go (MCGG) Rising Stars (MRS), the brand-new in-game feature that will serve as the gateway to the title’s first-ever international tournament. Starting today, players from around the globe can battle their way toward esports glory and a chance to become the inaugural international MCGG champion.

From Local Boards to the World Stage

Running until October 19, 2025, MRS is open to players across eight divisions:

Eastern Europe & Central Asia (EECA)
Europe
Indonesia
Latin America (LATAM)
Malaysia
Middle East & North Africa (MENA)
The Philippines

Matches will be available Fridays through Sundays, with no registration required. Players only need to log in and compete for their chance to advance.

Unlike team-based esports competitions, MRS spotlights individual skill. Competitors must navigate six stages to earn the prestigious title of Rising Star, unlocking exclusive rewards along the way. The strongest performers will advance to the Division Finals, where champions of each division will fight for a place in the MCGG international tournament.

The launch of MRS also marks the global expansion of MCGG Esports. Earlier this year, the MCGG Indonesia Community Tournament (MCCT ID) proved the game’s competitive appeal, drawing thousands of participants and over 1 million views in its third edition.
