Kabam has an exciting lineup for Marvel Contest of Champions players this month, featuring new Champions, Valentine’s Day events, the winner of the Summoner’s Choice Champion vote, and a special Champion giveaway to celebrate the upcoming release of “Captain America: Brave New World.” Here’s a sneak peek at what’s in store for players in the coming weeks.
Two new Champions are joining The Contest: the brilliant Swiss scientist turned robot, Arnim Zola, and the human hybrid Falcon (Joaquin Torres). Players can obtain Arnim Zola on February 13 and Falcon on February 27. In celebration of the theatrical release of “Captain America: Brave New World,” Marvel Contest of Champions is giving away Captain America (Sam Wilson) and Red Hulk. The star rarity of these Champions will be based on the player’s progression level, and both new and existing players can add them to their roster from February 13 through March 30.
With over 300 Champions in The Contest, players can also add other classic Marvel Super Heroes and villains such as Black Panther, Iron Man, Spider-Man, and more.
Arnim Zola is a brilliant scientist and the world’s foremost authority in biochemistry and genetic engineering. After his body failed, Zola digitized his consciousness and transferred his mind into a robotic body. In this immortal mechanical form, he has worked to ensure the dominance of both Hydra and his own genius throughout the decades.
Joaquín Torres, the new Falcon, came to the United States with his family at a young age, always aspiring to do good by them and his heritage. After being kidnapped and experimented on by the Sons of the Serpent, Joaquín was rescued by Sam Wilson but had already been transformed into a falcon/human hybrid. Embracing his new powers, Joaquín took on the mantle of Falcon and now fights alongside Sam as one of America’s newest heroes.
The annual Summoner’s Choice Champion vote has concluded, and players have chosen Mr. Knight, the man of many minds with unquestionable style and lunar mystique, as the next powerful character to enter The Contest. With over 1.2 million votes cast, Mr. Knight will be available for players later this year.
Marvel Contest of Champions has several special events lined up for February. The “Love is a Battlerealm” Valentine’s Sale will run from February 14-21, offering players discounted crystals, bonuses, and bundles. The “Brave New World” Login Calendar, themed to the upcoming movie, will feature daily bonuses, Champions, and profile pictures from February 13 through March 30.
In the “‘Til Deathless Do Us Part” side quest, Captain America and the new Falcon are on a diplomatic mission to broker peace with the new Deathless faction in The Battlerealm. Players can participate in this quest from February 5 through March 5. Additionally, the “Battlegrounds True Bromance” event will take place from February 12 to 19, offering Solo Objectives and a special Solo Event with rewards like Crystals, Profile Pics, and Emotes.
