Marvel Games and NetEase Games have just unveiled the full details for Season 1.5 of Marvel Rivals, the acclaimed Super Hero Team-Based PVP Shooter. Starting February 21, players can look forward to the arrival of The Thing and Human Torch from the Fantastic Four, along with a host of new features and updates.
Season 1.5, titled “Eternal Night Falls,” introduces The Thing and Human Torch as playable heroes. Johnny Storm, the Human Torch, brings his fiery abilities to the battlefield, scorching enemies with intense flames and soaring across the city to gather resources. Ben Grimm, known as The Thing, uses his immense strength and piloting skills to protect New York City and lead missions to collect Chronovium.
In addition to new characters, the update includes a brand-new map, “Empire of Eternal Night: Central Park,” and a redemption system that allows players to convert excess Chrono Tokens into Units. Competitive mode updates and tournament plans are also part of the exciting new content.
The Marvel Rivals Championship (MRC) recently maxed out its Faction registrations in North America, and the upcoming update will increase this limit. A series of Marvel Rivals Invitationals (MRI) will kick off at the end of February, leading up to the grand championship.
Marvel Rivals lets players choose heroes from three distinct roles: Vanguard, Duelist, and Strategist. Team up with allies to create a dynamic lineup and unleash joint superpowers with Team-Up Abilities. Developed by a NetEase team with a deep love for the Marvel universe, Marvel Rivals offers thrilling battles across destructible maps from the Marvel Multiverse.
Stay tuned for more updates and get ready to join the battle in Marvel Rivals Season 1.5!
