Massive 1.4 Update Transforms Medieval Strategy Game ‘Price of Glory’

The medieval turn-based strategy game, Price of Glory, has just launched its massive 1.4 update, bringing a host of exciting new features to enhance the player experience. Available now on iOS and Android in select regions, this update introduces a revamped tutorial system and stunning 3D visual effects, immersing players even deeper into the game’s rich medieval setting.

Price of Glory is an asynchronous turn-based strategy game where players compete for real rewards in a world of constant conflict. Set in a medieval fantasy realm, players engage in strategic combat across diverse terrains, including arid deserts, dense forests, and molten lava flows. The game emphasizes skill and strategy, requiring players to protect their stronghold, advance into enemy territory, and ultimately destroy the enemy base to claim victory. Success hinges on clever positioning, effective attacks, and tactical foresight.

With the new 3D map update, Price of Glory brings its medieval world to life. Units now spawn onto the battlefield with idle animations and particle effects, adding a new layer of immersion. Players can use scouts to see through the fog of war, revealing enemy positions, and deploy healers to anticipate and counter unseen threats. Heroes, powerful units with unique abilities, can turn the tide of battle. For example, Worp, a mech hero, can teleport, while Blix can convert enemy units to your side. The game’s primary resource, Animo, is crucial for spawning units, moving, attacking, and using special abilities. Each turn generates a limited amount of Animo, making every decision critical.

New players will appreciate the updated tutorial system, which provides a comprehensive overview of the game’s objectives and mechanics. Players learn to manage Animo, spawn different unit types, and monitor their units’ HP and attack power. The tutorial ensures that players are well-prepared to dive into the action. The game offers a “Skirmish” mode for quick, low-stakes matches and tournaments for serious competitors. Tournaments pit up to 64 players against each other in a single-elimination bracket, with larger rewards at stake. Entry to these tournaments requires Salt Crystal currency, which can be earned through in-game objectives and inviting friends to join your dynasty.

Price of Glory’s gameplay features include immersive 3D graphics, a refined tutorial system, and asynchronous play that allows players to take turns at their own pace. Strategic gameplay challenges players to manage resources, control strategic tiles, and outmaneuver opponents. Casual play is available through the “Skirmish” mode, while two tournament modes offer competitive play for those seeking greater challenges. The Dynasty system rewards players for inviting friends and being active in the game, providing in-game benefits.

Price of Glory’s Open Alpha is now available for iOS and Android in select regions. For more information, visit the game’s website and join the community on Discord for sneak peeks, tournament details, and more.
