The latest beta wrapped up on September 26, marking a huge milestone for Bellring Games. Over the course of the test, players eliminated more than 23 million enemies, experimented with the game’s diverse class system, and crowned Shadowstrix as the most popular choice among Gyldhunters. A staggering 7,409 players even managed to topple the Mist Lord, General Harald. The studio expressed gratitude to its growing community for shaping the future of Mistfall Hunter with their feedback and support.
Enter Solemn Needles: A Bleached Forest of Divine Secrets
The highlight of the studio’s Xbox TGS 2025 Broadcast was a first look at Solemn Needles, a new map set to launch with the full game. This eerie forest is steeped in divine remnants and ominous mysteries. Among its many dangers and wonders, players will encounter:
- The Divine Anchor – a relic that lures corrupted foes with its lingering celestial energy.
- Hastine’s Fall – the corpse of a fallen giant still pulsing with divine strength.
- The Witchery Woods – a cursed domain hiding secrets of forbidden power.
The map culminates in a showdown with the rise of a false god, cementing Solemn Needles as one of the most challenging battlegrounds yet.
A World Consumed by the Gyldenmist
Mistfall Hunter casts players into a land scarred by the eternal conflict between the Gods and Outer Gods. From their blood, the Gyldenmist was born, spreading corruption and madness. As resurrected warriors empowered by Dew, a fragment of the Fate Goddess’s soul, players must master deadly combos, forge strategies, and survive brutal encounters against monstrous creatures and rival hunters alike.
Key gameplay features include:
- Fight: Fast-paced third-person combat with fluid weapon switching and cooperative combos.
