MOONTON Games has officially leveled up Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Esports with a groundbreaking global broadcast rights partnership with Redd+E. Announced during the MPL Malaysia Season 16 Playoffs, this historic collaboration makes Redd+E the exclusive authorised reseller of broadcast rights for all MLBB Esports properties in Southeast Asia—plus the highly anticipated M7 World Championship set for January 2026.
This marks the very first broadcast rights partnership for MLBB Esports, positioning the title alongside the world’s top-tier sports entertainment properties and reinforcing its commercial maturity on a global scale.
Why This Partnership Matters
MLBB has become a cultural and competitive juggernaut around the world, and this new deal opens unprecedented commercial pathways. As the esports audience shifts to mainstream visibility, the partnership aims to establish a sustainable and scalable broadcast model inspired by traditional sports while staying rooted in esports’ community-first ethos.
Redd+E—well known for its work with the International Paralympic Committee, BLAST Premier, Badminton Asia, and more—will use its strong Southeast Asian footprint and global media network to amplify MLBB Esports content for both fans and broadcast partners.
Driving Innovation in Global Esports Media
Under this deal, Redd+E will handle the broadcast rights for all Southeast Asian MPL leagues across Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, and Singapore. They will also manage global broadcast rights for the M7 World Championship, one of the region’s most-watched esports spectacles.
Yip Ren Kai, Co-Founder and Managing Director at Redd+E, highlighted the alliance’s potential to reshape esports economics:
“This partnership takes a significant step toward unlocking additional revenue streams for esports IP owners. MLBB is one of the most culturally significant and widely followed esports titles in the world. By connecting MLBB with broadcasters and media partners across Southeast Asia, we are driving new commercial pathways that enhance sustainability, audience growth, and long-term value for the entire ecosystem.”
Adrian Cher, Global Head of Partnerships for MLBB Esports, emphasized how this collaboration sets a new standard for esports broadcasting:
“This partnership reinforces MLBB Esports’ reputation as a world-class sports entertainment property. Working with Redd+E allows us to create a stronger, more sustainable broadcast ecosystem—one that delivers commercial value to our media partners while giving our millions of fans the best viewing experience possible.”
MLBB’s Rise to Global Dominance
The numbers speak for themselves: MLBB Esports racked up an impressive 475 million hours watched in 2024, placing it among the top-viewed competitive gaming titles worldwide.
With over 1.5 billion installations and 110 million monthly active users, MLBB’s global footprint is expanding rapidly. Governments and world leaders have acknowledged MLBB as a major contributor to digital growth and youth development, including praise during the Esports World Cup.
Cher added that this partnership serves as a blueprint for MLBB’s broader international push—from the Middle East and Europe to Latin America and beyond.
The Road to M7 and Beyond
As MLBB gears up for the M7 World Championship in 2026, fans can expect broader regional coverage, higher production value, and improved accessibility through more global media partnerships.
This collaboration marks an important step toward MLBB becoming not just a premier esports title, but a global sports entertainment powerhouse.
