MANILA – Aurora retained their hold on the top spot of the standings of the Mobile Legends Bang Bang Professional League Philippines (MPL PH) as the season hits the halfway mark of the regular season.
Surviving Smart Omega, 2-1, last Saturday, Aurora now has solo lead at six points.
Close runner-ups are ONIC Philippines who outlasted TNC Pro Team last Sunday, 2-1, and defending champions Team Liquid Philippines who won both their matches over the weekend against Team Falcons PH and AP Bren. Both squads have five points.
Previous top spot holder, Twisted Minds fell to fourth place after losing their lone match of the weekend against TNC Pro Team while the Phoenix Army improved to fifth place thanks to the win last Saturday.
Going winless over the weekend were the remaining three teams, Smart Omega, AP Bren and Team Falcons PH who sit at sixth to eight place in that order.
