MANILA – Team Liquid Philippines and Smart Omega triumphed over Twisted Minds and Team Falcons Philippines to end Week 2 of the Mobile Legends Bang Bang Professional League Philippines (MPL PH) Season 16.
Smart Omega secured a sweep over Team Falcons PH, 2-0, while Team Liquid Philippines took down standings leader Twisted Minds, 2-0.
At the end of Week 2: Twisted Minds remain on top with a 3-1 standing followed by ONIC Philippines at 2-1. Smart Omega and Team Liquid Philippines are tied at 2-2, while Aurora Gaming and TNC Pro Team have risen with a 2-1 and 1-2 record respectively. Dropping to seventh place is AP Bren at 1-2 while Team Falcons are on a three game losing streak that have them a 1-3.
MPL PH returns on September 5 with Aurora versus Twisted Minds followed by ONIC Philippines vs Team Falcons Philippines.
