MANILA – Team Liquid Philippines improved their standing to 6-0 while AP Bren secured their first win in the MPL Philippines (MPL PH) Season 15 at the expense of Smart Omega as the regular season hits it’s mid-point.
Opening Week 4 of MPL PH Season 15 saw brothers to rivals as Team Liquid Philippines faced off against TNC Pro Team, with the Phoenix Army seeing a new goldlaner in Benedict “Bennyqt” Gonzales.
With former teammates faced off against one another, the much anticipated match-up did not disappoint as all games within the series went over twenty-minutes with The Cavalry eventually taking the win to extend their win streak to six.
In the second match of the day, AP Bren tunned Smart Omega with a clean 2-0 sweep to secure their first win of the season and shut down doubters that the team is only built for the development league.
Week Four’s triple header will begin with the battle of win streaks as TLPH faces Aurora, followed by ONIC Philippines versus Smart Omega. Closing the day is Team Falcons PH versus AP Bren.
