MANILA – The triple match-up for Week Five of Mobile Legends Professional League Philippines (MPL PH) Season 15 saw losing streaks snapped and ONIC Philippines, with Team Liquid Philippines, TNC and ONIC Philippines emerging victorious.
The fierce rivalry between Team Liquid Philippines and Team Falcons Philippines ended another chapter as a fierce three game series eventually went to The Cavalry who managed to secure a reverse sweep against the former M5 champion roster.
In the second series of the day, TNC snapped their losing streak with the debut of players Kyle “Koyl” Reyes and Frediemar “3MarTzy” Serafico with excellent performances in the Jungle and EXP lane that gave the Phoenix Army a clean sweep victory against AP Bren.
Ahead of the rematch of the previous season’s grand finals, Aurora already secured their playoffs spot with AP Bren’s earlier defeat but at the cost of their win streak as ONIC Philippines secured a reverse sweep against Aurora.
MPL Philippines Week Five concludes tomorrow with Team Falcons Philippines vs Smart Omega at 5pm followed by Twisted Minds vs Team Liquid Philippines at 7:30pm.
