The esports powerhouse has partnered with international jewellery brand Fairrie to introduce the first-ever MPL Philippines Championship Rings, marking a major milestone for the local Mobile Legends esports scene.
The announcement arrives as Mobile Legends: Bang Bang celebrates its 10th anniversary globally, further highlighting how far the competitive scene has grown in the Philippines.
MPL Philippines Championship Rings Introduced for the First Time
For the first time in the history of the MPL Philippines, the champions of Season 17 will receive official championship rings. The move elevates the prestige of winning the country’s most competitive Mobile Legends league and aligns it with major global esports events that reward champions with physical symbols of victory.
The rings were created in partnership with Fairrie, a company already recognized in the esports world for designing championship jewellery for major tournaments, including the M6 World Championship.
Each ring is crafted from sterling silver 925 with a gold-plated finish and features eight black spinel gemstones representing the eight franchise teams competing in Season 17. More than just a prize, the design reflects the teamwork, dedication, and long journey required to become MPL Philippines champions.
MPL Philippines Season 17 Regular Season Has Officially Begun
The MPL Philippines Season 17 Regular Season officially runs from March 20 to May 17, 2026, featuring eight weeks of intense competition between the country’s top professional teams.
Matches will take place every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in a double round-robin format, with teams battling for playoff spots and a chance to win the newly introduced championship rings.
With the Philippines consistently producing world champions in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang esports, Season 17 is expected to be one of the most competitive seasons yet.
A Tribute to Filipino Esports and the MLBB Community
The introduction of championship rings isn’t just about the winners—it’s also a celebration of Filipino esports culture. In the opening day of the new season, defending champions Team Liquid Philippines stunned M7 World Champions, Aurora Gaming PH, 2-1 while ONIC Philippines took down Twisted Minds, 2-1.
The win saw a successful debut for goldlaners Kim “Daikiqt” Sebanes of TLPH as well as first ever import, Indonesian Clayton “Savero” Kuswanto of ONIC Philippines.
Day Two of the opening week of MPL Philippines Season 17 will see AP Bren versus Smart Omega, Aurora Gaming PH against TNC Pro Team, and Twisted Minds versus Team Liquid Philippines.
