The legendary MMORPG MU Online has just leveled up again. Developer and publisher WEBZEN has rolled out the second major update for Season 20 Part 1, delivering a brand-new hunting ground, a level cap increase, exclusive Alchemist equipment, and a series of time-limited events and rewards.
New Hunting Ground: Kardamahal Underground Temple
Adventurers level 1,500 and above can now descend into the Kardamahal Underground Temple, hidden deep beneath Karutan’s southern caves. This perilous dungeon is crawling with Kundun’s demonic forces, where elemental beasts like Devil Sword and Devil Sorcery await. Defeating them grants rare treasures, including talismans and combination fragments—a must for players looking to push their characters to new heights.
Max Level Expansion and New Muun Rewards
The update raises MU Online’s maximum level cap from 1,650 to 1,700, giving hardcore grinders a new milestone to conquer.
To celebrate, WEBZEN is offering exclusive Muun companions as milestone rewards:
- Alchemist Muun – boosts base stats 20× for 30 days
- Dark Lord Muun – a returning fan favorite with equally powerful bonuses
Players who reach level 1,600 and 1,650 before the next season will earn these limited companions to aid them in their adventures.
Alchemist Class Exclusive Gear
The recently introduced Alchemist class gains access to powerful new equipment:
- Wings of Protection (Lv. 3) – enhanced defense
- Wings of Purity (Lv. 4) – increased damage boost and absorption
- Wings of Wisdom (Lv. 5) – includes a Wing Core that amplifies attack, wizardry, and curse abilities
In addition, new weapon and socket armor options further expand build potential, ensuring Alchemists can adapt to any challenge ahead.
Events and Bonuses (Until September 9)
WEBZEN is packing the update with special events and offers:
- Elemental Symbol Collection: Craft Superior Pentagrams and earn rare loot like Sealed Bloodangel Armor and Kundun’s Seal Scroll.
- Boosted Rates: Enjoy a 30% EXP bonus during event hours and a 20% permanent monster HP reduction.
- Safer Upgrades: Enhance Bloodangel equipment safely up to +11, with 20% higher success rates for Mastery Accessories upgrades.
- Free Seed Sphere Services: Mount and extract without cost.
- Lapidary Stone Ranking Event: Top 10 across all servers win the prestigious Earring of Foliage.
On top of this, limited-time sales and packages provide added value for adventurers stocking up.
