Bandai Namco Entertainment has unveiled the first look at the battle system for My Hero Academia: All’s Justice, the upcoming 3D arena fighter inspired by the hit anime and manga. A brand-new trailer shows off high-octane 3v3 combat, Plus Ultra combos, and dynamic gameplay mechanics designed to capture the spirit of the Final War arc.
One Last Smash: 3v3 Tag-Team Battles
At its core, All’s Justice delivers fast-paced 3v3 battles where players can swap between characters mid-fight to extend combos, counter enemy tactics, and shift momentum. Victory is secured by eliminating the opposing team’s roster one by one, making every tag and tactical decision critical.
The battle system emphasizes four key actions:
- Target Combo – Chain basic attacks together.
- Counter Attack – Punish enemy offense.
- Guard – Block incoming damage.
- Unblockable Attack – Break through defenses.
Supporting mechanics such as Evade and Counter Crash add more depth, allowing players to escape dangerous situations or reverse the tide of battle.
Plus Ultra Combos & Rising! State
The highlight of All’s Justice is the Plus Ultra Combo, a cinematic team attack where all three fighters unleash their Quirks at once for devastating damage. Players must build up their Plus Ultra gauge to trigger this finisher, rewarding aggressive and skillful play.
Adding even more intensity is Rising!, a special powered-up state that boosts attack strength, movement speed, and recovery. Rising! can be manually activated once the gauge is filled—or automatically triggers when a player is down to their last character, giving them a fighting chance to pull off a dramatic comeback.
Iconic Cast from the Final War Arc
The game features a massive roster spanning the entirety of My Hero Academia, with characters in their fully powered Final War forms. Fans can expect to play as:
- Izuku Midoriya (Deku)
- Katsuki Bakugo
- All Might
- Tomura Shigaraki
- Himiko Toga
…and many more. Each character comes with unique Quirk abilities, fresh movesets, and visual designs inspired by their final appearances in the manga.
Story Mode and Platforms
Beyond PvP, All’s Justice also offers a cinematic story mode, letting players relive the climactic Final War arc in “One Last Smash.” The game is set to launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
With its mix of cinematic team attacks, tactical mechanics, and a stacked roster of heroes and villains, My Hero Academia: All’s Justice is shaping up to be the most faithful and explosive MHA game yet. Expect more reveals from Bandai Namco in the coming months.
