Season 12 of Bandai Namco’s free-to-play battle royale, based on the hit anime My Hero Academia, is live now across PlayStation®4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch™, and PC via Steam® — and it brings with it a fan-favorite powerhouse: Tamaki Amajiki, also known as Suneater.
🌟 New Hero Joins the Fight: Tamaki Amajiki
A member of U.A. High School’s prestigious Big Three, Tamaki Amajiki enters the fray as the latest playable character. Using his Manifest quirk, he turns what he eats into a formidable arsenal:
- Marlin Horn: A piercing melee attack
- Octopus Tentacles: Pulls enemies closer
- Plasma Cannon: Fires a high-powered beam, even through walls
- Special Action “Wing Claw”: A powerful upward strike using bird talons
Whether you’re luring enemies in or striking from a distance, Suneater brings incredible versatility to every team composition.
🧥 New Costumes and In-Game Events
Season 12 also introduces a wave of new cosmetics and seasonal events, including:
- Tamaki Amajiki: “Casual Wear” and “Festival Outfit”
- Nejire: “Festival Yukata”
- Himiko Toga, Mr. Compress, Twice: “Villain Pirates” costumes (with some unlockable as Performance Rewards)
- Endeavor: New Quirk Skill Set – Inferno Fist
- New Battle Event: Coming later in the season
These updates give both Heroes and Villains a style upgrade — and more ways to express themselves in-game.

In MY HERO ULTRA RUMBLE, players jump into city-spanning maps as part of three-player teams, competing in 24-player showdowns. Choose your role — Hero or Villain — and harness each character’s unique Quirks to survive, support, or annihilate the competition.
