The New Global Sport Conference 2025 (NGSC) is leveling up in a big way. As part of the Esports World Cup 2025’s grand finale weekend, the event is set to return to Riyadh on August 23–24, with a powerhouse lineup of speakers, fresh content stages, and exclusive forums that cement its status as the premier global gathering for gaming, esports, and sports leaders.
Held at the Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh, NGSC 2025 will welcome over 1,500 delegates from across the globe, including 500+ CEOs, presidents, and board members. Attendees hail from more than 25 major game publishers, 50 elite esports organizations, and influential sectors such as global sports, technology, venture capital, and media.
Star-Studded Speaker Lineup
This year’s roster is nothing short of legendary. Hideo Kojima, the visionary behind Metal Gear Solid and Death Stranding, will take the stage alongside filmmaker and collaborator Nicolas Winding Refn. They’ll be joined by Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot, the driving force behind blockbuster franchises like Assassin’s Creed and Far Cry, as well as Matthew Ball, renowned tech strategist, investor, and bestselling author.
Also confirmed: Steven Bartlett, entrepreneur and host of Diary of a CEO, and Twitch CEO Dan Clancy, who will dive into how streaming platforms are reshaping the future of gaming and live entertainment.
Returning speakers and guests include World Chess Champion Magnus Carlsen, former Liverpool FC CEO Peter Moore, LA28 Chairman Casey Wasserman, and senior executives from FIFA, Sony, SEGA, Activision, Hero Esports, and the Esports World Cup Foundation.
New Stages, Strategic Tracks, and Exclusive Forums
In its third year, NGSC is expanding its program design. A brand-new feature, The Foundry, will host high-impact masterclasses, workshops, and curated roundtables—some open to all delegates, others accessible only by invitation. Within The Foundry, the Investor Track will connect leading investors with promising ventures in gaming, esports, and sports through closed-door deal-making sessions.
Meanwhile, the NGSC Studio Stage will produce live podcasts, interviews, and original programming over two days, spotlighting the voices shaping the future of competitive entertainment. An expanded Media Village will act as the beating heart of press coverage, delivering real-time updates and storytelling from the event floor.
Hans Jagnow, EWCF’s Director of Special Projects, describes NGSC 2025 as “the ultimate platform to define the next game”, adding that this year’s fully booked conference will spark the ideas and partnerships that shape the next era of the industry.
