Day 2 of the Predator League 2026 delivered a thrilling mix of strategy and firepower as the tournament introduced League of Legends for the first time and welcomed back the high-octane spectacle of VALORANT. Held at the bustling SM North EDSA Annex in Manila, the event drew packed crowds eager to witness some of the Philippines’ biggest esports names battle for national glory.
NAOS Esports emerged as the first-ever League of Legends champions in the Predator League, defeating tournament favorites West Point Esports – Academy in an exciting debut tournament. Meanwhile, Oasis Gaming showcased their dominance in VALORANT with a decisive victory over rising contenders Xipto Esports, cementing their place as one of the country’s premier FPS teams.
Both VALORANT finalists—Oasis Gaming and Xipto Esports—earned their coveted slots for the Asia Pacific Predator League 2026 Grand Finals happening early next year in New Delhi, India.
Oasis Gaming Outguns Xipto Esports in a Commanding VALORANT Series
The VALORANT main event saw long-standing powerhouse Oasis Gaming face off against the relatively new but rapidly ascending Xipto Esports. The four-game series delivered everything fans hoped for: explosive plays, tactical depth, and superstar-level performances.
Oasis Gaming Sets the Tone Early
On Sunset, the first map of the series, Oasis Gaming dominated with a commanding 13-5 victory.
Mark ‘Marky’ Tuling’s aggressive Yoru entry plays racked up 19 kills, setting the momentum for Oasis early in the match.
Game 2 on Abyss continued the onslaught, with Jon Michael ‘tesseract’ Piga unleashing masterful Sova utility and precision. Oasis crushed Xipto in a 13-3 rout, putting them one win away from sweeping the series.
Xipto Fights Back—But Not for Long
Xipto Esports clawed their way back in Corrode, led by John Timothy ‘JA’ Arone, who delivered a staggering 31 kills to secure their lone map win and force a Game 4. His performance overshadowed even Oasis’ own frag machine Jhian ‘Zeus’ Dela Vega, who put up 23 kills in the loss.
However, Xipto’s momentum was short-lived. Their Bind pick backfired as Oasis Gaming regained full control with a convincing 13-6 finish.
Zeus showcased yet again why he is considered one of the best Raze players in the Philippines, spearheading the final map victory.
With the win, Oasis Gaming lifted the Predator Shield and took home PHP 200,000, along with the honor of representing the Philippines in the APAC finals.
Stars Light Up the VALORANT Showmatch
Before the grand showdown, fans were treated to a fun and lighthearted showmatch featuring esports pros and influencers.
Gian Carlo ‘Giansanity’ Abilla teamed up with streamers Jillipuff and Shogun, while Acer ambassador Will Ashley led a team featuring Amara and Gabteezy.
Despite the laughs, trick plays, and chaotic antics, Team Giansanity proved superior with a 13-3 win that delighted the crowd.
Team Philippines Heads to India for the Predator League 2026 Grand Finals
Oasis Gaming and Xipto Esports will join Kukuys, Execration, and Team Nemesis as official Philippine representatives in the Asia Pacific Predator League 2026 Grand Finals in New Delhi.
They will face elite teams from across the region in what promises to be one of next year’s most competitive esports spectacles.
