MANILA – Get ready for an epic reveal! ONIC Philippines, the reigning M6 World Champions, have officially chosen Joy as their hero for the M6 Champion Skin. This exciting collaboration with international gaming giant MOONTON Games is a reward for their stunning victory at the world’s biggest Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) tournament in Kuala Lumpur last December.
Paul Denver “Coach Yeb” Lintag Miranda, ONIC Esports Vice President for Esports Franchise, shared his enthusiasm: “Joy almost represents ONIC Philippines with her skills and color. When we picked Joy, the crowd went wild!” Joy’s selection celebrates Cyric “K1ngkong” Perez’s phenomenal performance at M6, where his fearless plays and lightning-fast reflexes inspired the concept behind the new skin, set to be unveiled later this year.
Coach Yeb emphasized that Joy embodies happiness and excitement, reflecting the team’s journey of relentless pursuit and determination. “Her story mirrors our own: a relentless pursuit of greatness, filled with challenges and triumphs. After years of growth, we finally reached the pinnacle of success together,” he added.
In addition, MOONTON Games will give Grant “Kelra” Pillas the chance to co-design Beatrix for the #M6MVPSkin. As the Finals MVP, Kelra’s outstanding performance has made history, being the first player to win all Finals MVPs in three major MLBB tournaments: the Mobile Legends Professional League (MPL), Mobile Legends: Southeast Asia Cup (MSC), and M Series. “I feel honored to co-design Beatrix. This FMVP skin will signify my legacy in MLBB Esports,” Kelra said.
