Grinding Gear Games has just launched Path of Exile 2: Dawn of the Hunt, introducing a wealth of new content, including the powerful Huntress character class and free cosmetics available through Twitch Drops. This major update promises to enhance the gameplay experience for both new and veteran players.
Meet the Huntress
The Huntress is a versatile hybrid melee and ranged spear wielder, capable of agile combat and commanding beast companions. This new character class brings a fresh dynamic to the game, allowing players to blend spear techniques with the support of their loyal beasts.
Five Ascendancies
Players can further customize their playstyle with five new Ascendancies, including the Ritualist’s blood sacrifices and the Lich’s chaotic powers. These paths offer unique abilities and strategies, ensuring a diverse and engaging gameplay experience.
Expanded Endgame
The endgame has been revamped with new mechanics, Unique Maps, and enhanced Towers, providing more rewarding late-game content. Players can explore these new features and challenge themselves with the updated endgame experience.
Over 100 New Support Gems
Build diversity is expanded with over 100 new Support Gems, featuring innovative skill modifiers like Haemocrystals, Caltrops, and Enormity. These gems allow players to tailor their builds and experiment with new strategies.
Unique Items & Crafting
The update introduces over 100 mid and endgame Unique items, including the first Unique Charms, crafting updates, and powerful runes. These additions offer players more options for customization and progression.
Rogue Exiles
Experience PVP-like combat in dynamic duels against Rogue Exiles, who possess Dodge Roll capabilities with smart pathfinding and targeting. Defeat these challenging opponents to gain their loot and enhance your character.
Free Cosmetics Through Twitch Drops
Players can earn free cosmetics by spending three hours of watch time in the Path of Exile 2 Twitch category during specific times. The available cosmetics include:
- Azmeri Noble Deer Pet: Available from April 4, 12 PM PDT to April 12, 5 AM PDT.
- Hunter’s Trophy Back Attachment and Honour Guard Rhoa Mount: Available from April 13, 5 AM PDT to April 19, 5 AM PDT.
