Pokémon Sleep Now Supports Garmin Smartwatches With Free Rewards for Trainers

Pokémon

Sleep tracking just got a lot more exciting for Pokémon fans. The Pokémon Company International has officially announced that Pokémon Sleep now supports select Garmin smartwatches, allowing trainers to track their sleep using their wearable devices while discovering unique Pokémon sleep styles.

The collaboration launched on March 13, 2026, coinciding with World Sleep Day, and introduces exclusive rewards and downloadable Pokémon-themed smartwatch watch faces for compatible Garmin devices.

Garmin Smartwatch Compatibility Comes to Pokémon Sleep

With the new integration, trainers who own compatible Garmin smartwatches can now use their devices to track sleep data that syncs with Pokémon Sleep. This feature allows players to continue researching Pokémon sleep styles while using Garmin’s health-tracking technology.

However, the app itself does not run directly on the smartwatch. Instead, sleep data collected by the wearable syncs with a smartphone running Pokémon Sleep on iOS or Android.

Not all Garmin devices are supported, so trainers should check the official compatibility list on the Pokémon Sleep website for the latest supported models.

Limited-Time Rewards for Tracking Sleep

To celebrate the collaboration, players who register and track sleep data using a Garmin smartwatch between:

March 13, 2026 – November 1, 2026

will receive a special in-game reward.

Eligible players can claim three Poké Biscuits, useful items that help befriend Pokémon in Pokémon Sleep. The gift can be redeemed by tapping the Gift Box icon located in the upper-right corner of the in-game menu.

Players should remember to claim the reward within 90 days, as unclaimed gifts will automatically disappear after that period.

Free Pokémon Sleep Watch Faces for Garmin Devices

The collaboration also introduces two free Pokémon-themed smartwatch watch faces available through the Garmin Connect IQ Store.

The new watch faces include:

  • Pokémon Sleep: Snorlax & Friends
  • Pokémon Sleep: I Choose You

These watch faces feature interactive Pokémon animations tied to Garmin’s Body Battery™ energy tracking system. Depending on the user’s energy levels throughout the day, the Pokémon displayed on the watch face will change poses.

Additionally, every night one of three different sleep styles will appear randomly, adding a playful Pokémon twist to sleep tracking.

The feature prominently highlights Snorlax, the iconic Pokémon known for its love of sleeping.

Celebrating World Sleep Day With New Pokémon Videos

Alongside the smartwatch integration announcement, The Pokémon Company International released two new promotional videos on the official Pokémon YouTube channel:

  • “Pokémon Awaits — Day and Night!”
  • “Good Morning with Pokémon Sleep”

The videos celebrate healthy sleep habits while showcasing the relaxing world of Pokémon Sleep.

Turning Sleep Into a Pokémon Adventure

Originally launched as a sleep-focused lifestyle game, Pokémon Sleep transforms bedtime routines into a fun research adventure.

Players place their smartphone beside their bed while sleeping. The app then records sleep patterns and categorizes them into different styles, which attract various Pokémon the following morning.

The goal is to research and collect unique Pokémon sleep styles, turning everyday rest into a relaxing gameplay loop.

Pokémon Sleep, the sleep tracker app that turns sleep into entertainment, can be downloaded for free on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Learn more about Pokémon Sleep at PokemonSleep.net.
