A failed climate control experiment has plunged PUBG’s iconic map into a harsh winter wasteland. Erangel: Subzero introduces dynamic snowfall, chilling atmospheric effects, and a reimagined landscape filled with environmental hazards.
For the first time, the Blue Zone now features a Freezing Effect, making prolonged exposure even deadlier. Combined with fallen satellites, updated aircraft aesthetics, and redesigned terrain, every match feels more intense and unpredictable than ever.
Players also gain new tactical tools: the BZ Grenade and BZ Grenade Launcher, capable of generating localized freezing zones within the Blue Zone itself. And the best part? Erangel’s frozen evolution isn’t complete—Update 39.2 will continue escalating the Subzero conditions.

Creators gain access to:

Weapon Balance Adjustments in Update 39.1

- Increased recoil: AUG, VSS
- VSS firing sound volume increased for better enemy detection
