Get ready, survivors — PUBG MOBILE has just gone full horror mode! Teaming up with Techland’s hit survival horror title Dying Light: The Beast, the latest crossover event brings an adrenaline-pumping blend of action, zombies, and exclusive rewards to the battlegrounds.
From October 16 to November 4, players can dive into a terrifying new limited-time event featuring Biters, Virals, and Chargers, as well as the all-new Beast Mode — a powerful temporary state that transforms you into a near-unstoppable force.
Enter the Fray: Survive Castor Woods
The crossover kicks off in Castor Woods, a new haunted hotspot appearing across Livik and Erangel. This once tranquil area is now infested with three distinct zombie types straight out of Dying Light: The Beast:
- Biters – Slow but dangerous in groups.
- Virals – Fast, aggressive attackers that close distance quickly.
- Chargers – Massive tanks capable of devastating tackle and charge attacks.
Inside the Castor Woods building, players will find all three enemy types waiting. Those brave enough to defeat them can access a safe zone upstairs filled with special items like the Baseball Bat and the Genome Synthetic Booster — a rare syringe that unlocks Beast Mode.
Activating Beast Mode grants enhanced mobility, reduced damage taken, and access to the devastating Aerial Smash ability, perfect for clearing out clusters of enemies or turning the tide of battle.
Beast Mode Expands Across Game Modes
The crossover doesn’t end with themed battles. In Metro Royale, the same zombie-themed gameplay is available, but with a twist — successfully extracting from a match turns the Genome Synthetic Booster into a sellable item, adding a new layer of strategy and reward to your runs.
Meanwhile, WOW Mode gets a major undead upgrade starting October 20 until December 20. Players will encounter five zombie types, including three Biter variants, and a full Dying Light: The Beast-themed map. This follows the World of Wonder 1.0 update, which expanded creative tools and allowed players to design their own terrifying experiences.
Exclusive Collaboration Rewards
To celebrate the collaboration, PUBG MOBILE is hosting a special themed event from October 16 to November 4. By completing missions, players can earn limited crossover rewards such as:
- DYING LIGHT: THE BEAST Avatar
- DYING LIGHT: THE BEAST Avatar Frame
- DYING LIGHT: THE BEAST Set, featuring the iconic Kyle Crane outfit
The crossover extends to Dying Light: The Beast itself, where players will be able to embark on a special side quest filled with new open-world activities. Completing these challenges will reward crossover cosmetics including a Kyle Crane outfit, vehicle skin, baseball bat, frying pan, and PUBG MOBILE x Dying Light: The Beast charm.
