The Esports World Cup Foundation (EWCF) has officially launched the “Road to EWC” program, a monumental global qualification circuit leading up to the Esports World Cup 2025, scheduled to take place in Riyadh from July 7 to August 24, 2025. This year’s event promises to be the biggest in esports history with over $70 million in prize money, more than 2,000 elite players, and 200 top clubs competing across 25 tournaments and 24 games.

🎮 What Is “Road to EWC”?
“Road to EWC” connects over 200 international events, ranging from publisher-run professional leagues to grassroots and community-led tournaments. These serve as the official qualifiers for the Esports World Cup 2025, offering players at every level the chance to compete on the world’s biggest stage.
The tournament’s cross-game format is designed to celebrate both the diversity and unity of global gaming culture, with competitions in PC, console, and mobile games alike.

In mobile titles especially, regional leagues across Southeast Asia, the MENA region, and LATAM will determine national champions who will go on to represent their countries in Riyadh. Meanwhile, Last Chance Qualifiers in July will offer breakout players one final opportunity to earn their place at the Esports World Cup.
