Indie developer Mythtales Interactive, a small but ambitious team from Malaysia, has officially unveiled their debut title: Rogue Skies, a steampunk-themed roguelike deckbuilder where players captain an airship, recruit a crew, and battle sky pirates in strategic, card-based combat.
Currently in development, Rogue Skies invites players to conquer the skies, defend their vessel, and hunt for treasure in a world ruled by sky pirates.
A World of Sky Pirates and Airship Battles
In Rogue Skies, players take command of their own customizable airship during the rise of the sky pirate era. To survive and thrive, you’ll need to carefully build a deck of unit and skill cards, engage in tactical turn-based battles, and make tough choices that could decide the fate of your crew.

Choose Your Captain
Start every run by selecting a unique captain, each with their own guild allegiance and bonuses. These choices allow for distinct playstyles, adding replayability to every new adventure.
Explore Floating Cities
Between battles, you’ll chart a course to one of two floating cities. Each stop offers opportunities to recruit new crew members, repair and upgrade your ship, or experience random events—some helpful, others dangerous.
Customize Your Airship
Airship combat is all about preparation. Equip cannons to fend off raiders, then assign unit cards to crew them. Cannons can devastate enemies directly or provide tactical buffs to allies, giving you multiple paths to victory.
Strategic Deckbuilding
With multiple guilds offering unique strengths and weaknesses, players can experiment with countless combinations. Whether allying with the Adventurer’s Guild, the Cannoneer’s Guild, or the Inventor’s Guild, every decision shapes your strategy—and your survival.
