  • FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves
  • THE KING OF FIGHTERS XV
  • SAMURAI SHODOWN
  • ART OF FIGHTING 3: The Path of the Warrior

Global Qualifiers Start at Frosty Faustings XVIII

The road to the SNK World Championship 2026 officially begins at Frosty Faustings XVIII on January 29, 2026, where the first wave of qualifying tournaments will take place.

From there, qualifying events will roll out sequentially throughout the year, allowing players from around the globe to earn their place in the SWC 2026 Grand Finals, scheduled for later in 2026. The exact date and location of the Grand Finals will be revealed at a future time.

$4.1 Million Prize Pool and Unique Points-to-Cash System

Across both qualifiers and the Grand Finals, SWC 2026 boasts a combined $4,100,000 prize pool, making it one of the most lucrative fighting game circuits to date.

Players will earn championship points based on their rank and placement in each qualifying tournament, excluding the Last Chance Qualifier. The highest point earners will advance to the main tournament.

In a unique twist, all points earned will be converted directly into prize money, with a rate of 1 point equal to 1 USD, and awarded at a later date. This system ensures that consistent performance throughout the season is rewarded financially, even outside of final placements.
