Seasun Games Pte. Ltd., a pioneering game studio known for its proprietary 3D engine, has launched the highly anticipated “Abyssal Dawn” update for Snowbreak: Containment Zone. This update brings a wealth of new features, including new characters, outfits, in-game events, and gameplay additions. The 3D waifu sci-fi RPG shooter is free-to-play and available on iOS, Android, Windows, and via the Epic Games store.
New Characters and Outfits
The “Abyssal Dawn” update introduces two new characters:
- Nerida – Styx Envoy: A chaos-type assault rifle main DPS optimized for both single and AoE combat, featuring an innovative damage mechanic and an Ultimate Skill that can remain on the battlefield without her.
- Nita – Pulse: A thermal-type shotgun DPS with a new, dynamic QTE combat mechanic for engaging gameplay.
Additionally, new outfits are available for all characters, including:
- Dawn’s Command (Nerida – Styx Envoy)
- Sylvan Spirit (Nita – Pulse)
- Classy Elegance (Katya – Dawnwing)
- Vitality Checkup (Bubu – The Geomancer)
- Nitro Nova (Fenny – Starshine)
- Grove of Secrets (interactable scene, outfit, and weapon skin bundle for Nita – Pulse)
- Tidy Marksmaid (Yao – Winter Solstice, as compensation for her previously censored swimsuit outfit)
In-Game Events and Gameplay Additions
The update also brings exciting new in-game events:
- Pulse Puzzle (permanent event from April 17): Players can gain early access to Nita – Pulse by following in-game clues and solving puzzles.
- Emotional Purge (April 28 – May 29, 2025): Snowbreak’s debut of 3D cover shooter gameplay, highlighting dynamic actions such as movement, vaulting over cover, shooting, and physics-based motion effects.
- Nita’s Invitation (May 1 – Permanent): An opportunity for players to unlock Nita’s max Auctus Drive, fully modified signature weapon, and fixed-talent logistics squad for free.
New gameplay additions include:
- Snapshot Booth: Take posed photos with scene/expression options for all characters, savable to your local device.
- Main Story Stages Replay Mode: Replay main story stages.
- Dynamic Outfit Illustrations: New illustrations for player profiles.
- Hide and Seek Gameplay Mode: A fun new mode to enjoy.
