Arc Games and DECA Games have just launched the 33rd season of their popular free-to-play MMORPG, Star Trek Online: Unveiled, now available on PlayStation and Xbox. Console players can dive into the new featured episode “Axiom,” where they’ll reunite with familiar faces to uncover the mysteries of the Harmony. This season also includes a limited-time 15th Anniversary event, offering rewards like the Garret Command Alliance Dreadnought Cruiser [T6], and introduces the new lock box “Discovery: Partners In Crime.”
The celebration continues with the release of a brand-new starship bundle for PC, set to arrive on PlayStation and Xbox on April 8. The 15th Anniversary Starship Bundle features exclusive variants and four new starships inspired by the classic era of Star Trek films, from Star Trek: The Motion Picture (1979) to Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country (1991).
Items in the bundle include:
- Pioneer II Pilot Heavy Frigate [T6]: A “T6” version of a STO-original starship design, with a bonus “Plymouth” variant.
- Ark Royal Intel Carrier [T6]: A massive Starfleet carrier from Starfleet Command II (2000), featuring the “Kitty Hawk” visual variant and a new hangar pet item, the Type 4 shuttlecraft.
- Kerala Temporal Battlecruiser [T6]: A reinterpretation of the “Shepard” class starship from Star Trek: Discovery, with Shepard and Gagarin visual variants.
- Shangri-La Command Warship [T6]: Designed by Bill Krause and canonized in Star Trek: Picard, with several visual variants including the Constitution II.
- Theseus Miracle Worker Destroyer [T6]: Previously exclusive to the infinity Lockbox, now available with a bundle-exclusive variant inspired by Star Trek: Year 5 comic.
- Exeter Cruiser Refit: A Tier 2 ship included as an account unlock, featuring the Exeter visual variant.
- Phaser Pistol: Kirk’s Phaser pistol from Star Trek III: The Search for Spock, with a unique secondary firing mode.
- Armored Security Guard Uniform: A uniform introduced in Star Trek: The Motion Picture.
In Star Trek Online: Unveiled, players will face a new Borg incursion in the Ram Izad system. Responding to a call for help from Hugh, the Cooperative Borg Faction Leader and Executive Director of the Reclamation Project (played by Jonathan Del Arco), players will uncover the damaged ship of Aetherian leader Thaseen-Fei in the Delta Quadrant. The mission involves a search-and-rescue operation to uncover the truth about what went wrong aboard the Harmony.
Star Trek Online: Unveiled offers new features such as:
- New Episode – Axiom: A narrative focusing on a sinister Borg incursion, featuring Hugh and a compelling story about the Harmony.
- Season 33 Event – 15th Anniversary: Running from March 11 to April 10, this event allows players to celebrate 15 years of Star Trek Online and earn rewards like the Garret Command Alliance Dreadnought Cruiser [T6].
- New Lock Box: “Discovery: Partners In Crime”: Includes a new Grand Prize starship, Breen Keth Sarr Intel Courier [T6], and rewards inspired by Season 5 of Star Trek: Discovery.
