The game is set to launch February 18, 2026, with both standard and Deluxe Editions offering players new missions, heroes, and advanced technologies for a deeper voyage.
Preorders and Free Demos Now Live
Preorders for Star Trek: Voyager – Across the Unknown are now open on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2. Alongside the preorder, a free demo is available on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, featuring a redesigned user interface, refined combat pacing, and enhanced ship-control feedback—all based on extensive community feedback.
The demo places players in a sector inspired by the classic Voyager pilot episode, “The Caretaker”, offering a guided tutorial and roughly an hour of gameplay. Captains must manage the starship, maintain crew survival, and navigate complex decisions while beginning their epic journey back to the Alpha Quadrant. A Nintendo Switch 2 demo and updated Steam PC demo will follow soon.
Deluxe Edition Offers Deeper Starfleet Adventures
The Deluxe Edition expands the Delta Quadrant experience with additional missions, new recruitable heroes, and advanced alien technologies. These elements integrate directly into the main campaign, providing both new narrative paths and tactical options for returning fans and newcomers alike.
To showcase core gameplay systems, Daedalic and gameXcite released a Combat Deep Dive video, highlighting the game’s tactical combat approach. Unlike traditional starship games, players do not manually pilot or fire weapons. Instead, they make captain’s decisions—adjusting subsystems, energy distribution, ship positioning, and torpedo launches to create authentic Star Trek–style battles.
