Team Spirit Sweeps Grand Finals to Make MLBB Esports History at MCC Season 6

MLBB Esports

Team Spirit (TS) has once again solidified its place atop the Eastern Europe and Central Asia (EECA) Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) scene. The powerhouse squad (formerly known as Deus Vult) secured their sixth consecutive championship title at the MLBB Continental Championships (MCC) Season 6, a monumental achievement that carves their name into MLBB Esports history as the first team across all leagues to achieve such a feat.

The Grand Finals, held just yesterday, on November 17, 2025, in Singapore, saw the EECA champions deliver a decisive 4-0 sweep against their rivals, Virtus.pro (VP). This dominant performance caps off an impressive season and cements TS’s legacy as the region’s top contender.

Road to Redemption: Lower Bracket Triumphs

While the final scoreline was convincing, Team Spirit’s path to the championship was a test of resilience. Earlier in the Playoffs, Virtus.pro had dealt the champions a blow with a strong 3-1 victory in the Upper Bracket Finals, sending TS to the Lower Bracket. However, TS fought back with characteristic determination, navigating the Lower Bracket Finals to earn their rematch and ultimately reclaim their throne.

Following their victory, Team Spirit now advances directly to the M7 World Championship (M7) Main Stage. Runner-up Virtus.pro will take on the challenge of the M7 Wild Card, competing for a chance to join the world’s elite on the Main Stage. The M7, hosted by MOONTON Games, marks the seventh edition of MLBB’s global flagship tournament.

🐉 The Rise of an MLBB Esports Powerhouse

Team Spirit is widely considered the Dark Horse of the global MLBB stage. Their roster—Alexander “Oneshot” Sharkov, Kemiran “SunsetLover” Kochkarov, Anton “Hiko” Pak, Mathaios “KidBomba” Panagiotis Chatzilakos, and Stanislav “SAWO” Reshnyak—is a formidable blend of strategic depth and veteran experience.

Their sustained success on the regional level is now backed by a strong international track record, including top-four finishes at both the M5 and M6 World Championships. This consistency proves that TS belongs among the world’s best MLBB teams.

KidBomba on the Historic Win: “I’m so proud of the boys for this win. Honestly, it still feels unreal that we’ve made MLBB Esports history—it really makes this victory feel even more special… We’ll stay focused, keep up our strong performances, and show the world what Team Spirit can do. Hopefully, we can make our region proud and bring back the M Series title to EECA for the first time!”

The team is now laser-focused on the M7, aiming to once again make history by securing the EECA region’s first-ever M Series World Title.

🐻 Virtus.pro: The New Contenders Headed to M7 Wild Card

While Virtus.pro fell short in the Grand Finals, their journey continues to impress. Their Upper Bracket Finals victory over Team Spirit was a massive statement. VP also recently clinched the MLBB Mid Season Cup (MSC) at the 2025 Esports World Cup (EWC) Wild Card during their international debut.

VP’s rise from the MCC Season 5 Closed Qualifiers to Wild Card champions is an inspiring underdog story, underscoring the increasing strength of EECA MLBB on the global stage. They now head to the M7 Wild Card determined to fight their way onto the Main Stage and cement EECA’s status as a top-tier region.

🌍 EECA Solidifies Place Among MLBB’s Great Four

The EECA region, once considered an emerging scene, has now firmly established itself as one of the most competitive regions globally. Its recognition as one of MLBB’s Great Four Powers is a testament to the sustained, top-tier performance of teams like six-time champions Team Spirit.

A key factor in this regional growth is the MCC’s adoption of the “Brave Draft.” Introduced in Season 5, this global ban system prohibits teams from selecting the same hero twice in a match. This innovative format pushes athletes to widen their hero pools and master tactical versatility, forging EECA teams into established challengers on the international circuit.

Ajay Jilka, Head of Esports – EECA at MOONTON Games: “EECA’s growth in MLBB Esports has been remarkable—from an emerging region to a recognised title contender… Seeing our athletes develop and EECA secure its place among MLBB’s Great Four Powers is a testament to how league development can elevate a region’s talent and competitiveness on the world stage.”

🗓️ M7 World Championship: The Global Gauntlet Awaits

Team Spirit and Virtus.pro will now prepare to represent EECA at the M7 World Championship. The tournament, set to be the largest M Series edition yet, will take place in Jakarta, Indonesia, from January 3 to 25, 2026. Twenty-two of the world’s best teams will compete for the championship title and a massive USD 1,000,000 prize pool.

Global Regional Champions Also Headed to M7

The road to the M7 has seen champions crowned across the globe:

  • MPL Malaysia: Selangor Red Giants OG Esports (SRG.OG) secured a historic four-peat with a 4–0 clean sweep in Season 16, advancing to the M7 Main Stage.
  • MPL Cambodia: CFU Gaming (CFU) clinched their third consecutive championship with a dramatic 4–3 comeback victory in the Grand Finals, securing a Main Stage slot.
  • MLBB Super League (MSL) Myanmar: Yangon Galacticos (YG) dominated the Playoffs to take the Season 2 title and make their international debut on the Main Stage.
  • MLBB China Masters: DianFengYaoGuai (DFYG) achieved a reverse sweep in the Finals to secure their slot on the Main Stage.
  • MPL LATAM: Underdogs Black Sentence won the Season 4 championship, highlighting the emergence of new talent in Latin America and securing a Main Stage berth.
  • M7 Japan Qualifier: ZETA DIVISION claimed victory, advancing to the M7 Wild Card.

The stage is set for an epic clash of titans at the M7, where Team Spirit will aim to complete their historic run by conquering the world.
