Tempest Tower: New Gameplay Trailer and Demo at Steam Next Fest

Half Past Yellow has just unveiled a new gameplay trailer for their upcoming game, Tempest Tower, coinciding with its inclusion in the February edition of Steam Next Fest and the Baltic Game Showcase. The trailer showcases the game’s dynamic gameplay and user interface, giving players a taste of what to expect.

Tempest Tower, a unique blend of strategy and action, challenges players to defend their tower from invading Creepers using a variety of wild contraptions, powerful upgrades, or even by jumping on their heads. This game reinvents the Tower Defense genre with a thrilling mix of strategic base-building and engaging player-driven combat.

A free demo of Tempest Tower has been available on Steam since February 14th, and it has already generated buzz on YouTube and Twitch. Players can experience the demo during Steam Next Fest, which runs until March 3, 2025.

Tempest Tower marks Half Past Yellow’s first self-published title, with plans to bring the game to Steam Early Access in the first half of 2025. The Copenhagen-based indie studio, founded in 2017 by a group of friends who had been game jamming together, has grown to a team of eight and released two games over the past seven years.
