Tencent Games delivered its biggest-ever showcase at gamescom 2025, drawing in hundreds of thousands of visitors with world premieres, hands-on demos, and unforgettable stage moments. From console launches and cross-platform experiences to bold new IPs, the publisher proved once again why it remains a global gaming powerhouse.

World Premieres at Opening Night Live

Hosted by Geoff Keighley, Opening Night Live (ONL) became the stage for Tencent’s biggest announcements:

  • Delta Force (Team Jade) – Premiered its console launch trailer, officially available now on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. With cross-platform data sync and seamless progress carryover, players can jump into unlimited warfare. To celebrate, the free Black Hawk Down DLC is live on console.
  • Fate Trigger (Saroasis Studios) – A tactical anime-inspired shooter unveiled its latest trailer and live cosplay competitions. Following a successful PC Closed Beta in July, the game is set for Early Access in Q1 2026, complete with new heroes, weapons, vehicles, and first-person POV game modes.
  • Honor of Kings: World (TiMi Studio Group) – Fans got their first taste of breathtaking landscapes, mythological boss battles, and cooperative combat in this action RPG. Attendees joined hands-on PC demos, including a special co-op fight against the newly revealed boss, Bi Fang.
  • Project Spectrum (Team Jade) – A tactical, squad-based FPS with asymmetric combat, powered by Unreal Engine 5, made its global debut. The cinematic trailer teased a dark, high-stakes world of mystery and strategy.

Tencent Games went all out with interactive booths and demos:

  • Interstellar Utopia (Pixel Software) – A sandbox space survival game where players explore galaxies as Cyborgs, experimenting with star system traversal and creative construction. Its Consciousness Upload Station became a must-visit attraction.
  • PUBG MOBILE (LIGHTSPEED STUDIOS & KRAFTON, Inc.) – Fans previewed the new UNFAIL asymmetric PvP mode, ghost-themed gameplay, and the upcoming Version 4.0 Spooky Soiree. Content creators hosted live events and in-game experiences, cementing PUBG MOBILE’s “Beyond Battle Royale” vision.
  • Rust Mobile (Facepunch Licensed) – Debuted its first-ever global demo, bringing the beloved survival experience to handheld devices with base-building, PvP, and relentless open-world challenges.
  • Terminull Brigade (PewPew Games) – Officially launched worldwide during the event, this co-op rogue-lite shooter is now free on Steam and the Epic Games Store.

  • At gamescom congress, PUBG MOBILE Producer Rick Li joined Xbox, Ubisoft, and Unity leaders on the Playing for the Planet panel, spotlighting sustainability in gaming. PUBG MOBILE’s Play For Green campaign, created with UNEP, encourages eco-awareness through immersive content.
  • At devcom, Tencent unveiled VISVISE, its new AI-powered game creation platform. Tools like GoSkinning and MotionBlink streamline character rigging and animation, letting developers focus on creativity.
  • Specialized panels also explored anti-cheat operations and the sound design of Delta Force: Black Hawk Down, showing Tencent’s depth in both security and immersive audio innovation.
