Pokémon TCG Pocket is about to go interdimensional. The Pokémon Company has officially announced “Extradimensional Crisis,” a new themed booster pack set to launch on May 29, 2025, bringing the fan-favorite Ultra Beast Pokémon to the mobile trading card game for the first time.
These powerful, otherworldly Pokémon — originally introduced in Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon — will bring new depth and dazzling card visuals to the app, along with a host of limited-time in-game events, collectibles, and debut features.
Ultra Beasts Make Their Trading Card Pocket Debut
Starting May 29, Trainers using the Pokémon TCG Pocket app can pull new cards featuring iconic Ultra Beasts, including:
- Buzzwole ex
- Guzzlord ex
- Nihilego
- Blacephalon
These mysterious lifeforms hail from Ultra Wormholes, bringing with them an aura of cosmic energy and a unique edge in gameplay. To commemorate their arrival, players can also grab an Ultra Beast-themed binder cover from the in-game Shop using shop tickets starting on launch day.
But that’s not all. Players will soon be able to display their favorite pulls on a beautifully designed floral display board, which will be unlockable during the Wonder Pick event (more on that below).
Type: Null and Alola Region Pokémon Join the Pack
In addition to the Ultra Beasts, Extradimensional Crisis also introduces more Alola region Pokémon to the TCG Pocket ecosystem. This includes the exciting debut of Type: Null, the synthetic Pokémon with deep lore ties to the Ultra Beast storyline in the mainline games.
