After three years of dedicated development, Turtle Flip Studio is thrilled to announce the release date for their debut title, Which Way Up: Galaxy Games. This gravity-defying multiplayer party game will be available on Nintendo Switch and PC (via Steam) starting March 27.
Which Way Up: Galaxy Games offers a unique twist on the traditional party game by allowing players to run on walls and ceilings, orbit around planets, and navigate through gravity fields. The game promises a family-friendly experience filled with gravity gymnastics, black hole escapes, and the chance to launch friends into space across various events in the Galaxy Games.
Nick Cellini, the founder of Turtle Flip Studio, shared his inspiration for the game: “I created Which Way Up because of my love for Super Mario Galaxy and the delightful ways unusual gravity can change platforming. We wanted to capture the nostalgia and wholesome feelings of local multiplayer games, playing on the couch with friends. As big Nintendo fans, we drew a lot of inspiration from their art style and game design. We hope our game can bridge generational gaps, offering something for everyone in the Galaxy Games.”
Priced at $14.99, Which Way Up: Galaxy Games will be available on March 27. For more updates, follow the game’s development on X, Instagram, and TikTok @WhichWayUpGame, and join the conversation with the developers on Discord.
In Which Way Up: Galaxy Games, players can expect gravity-bending platforming with up to four friends locally, featuring seven Space Sprites and twelve Galaxy Games. Each event presents a unique challenge, from racing across gravity fields to scoring goals with moons and capturing zodiacal constellations.
