XSEED Games Unveils Final Character Videos for The Hundred Line -Last Defense Academy-

The Hundred Line

XSEED Games, the independent publishing brand of Marvelous USA, Inc., has just released the final two English character introduction videos for The Hundred Line -Last Defense Academy-. These videos spotlight the Special Defense Unit, a team dedicated to protecting the school for the next 100 days. This release is part of the ongoing “100 Days to Launch” campaign, which features daily announcements, videos, and more leading up to the game’s release on April 24, 2025, for Nintendo Switch™ and Windows PC via Steam.

From the creative minds of Kazutaka Kodaka (Danganronpa) and Kotaro Uchikoshi (Zero Escape series), The Hundred Line -Last Defense Academy- blends adventure and tactical RPG elements within a gripping, tense storyline that can lead to multiple despair-filled endings. The latest character videos introduce the remaining members of the Special Defense Unit, each with unique backgrounds and personalities.

Meet the Special Defense Unit:

  • Yugamu Omokage, the “Teenage Assassin,” is a young man with a dark past in the assassination business. Unlike his family, he believes in killing with love and enjoys grotesque activities.
  • Kyoshika Magadori, the “Ninja Samurai,” is a young samurai unfamiliar with modern life and has a close bond with her katana, the Holy Jumonji Sword.
  • Gaku Maruko, the “Self-Centered Mood Maker,” is a refreshingly honest coward who looks out for himself but can be caring once he opens up.
  • Tsubasa Kawana, the “Star Mechanic,” is a lively young woman knowledgeable about machines but struggles with stress.
  • Hiruko Shizuhara, the “Ice Queen,” leads the Special Defense Unit with a cold, merciless demeanor, both in speech and on the battlefield.
  • Sirei, the commanding officer, is a quirky robot principal who directs the Special Defense Unit.
  • Takemaru Yakushiji, the “Gangster with a Heart of Gold,” is an old-school delinquent with a kind heart, sworn to protect the weak.
  • Shoma Ginzaki, the “Waste of Space,” is a young man with low self-esteem who constantly puts himself down.
  • Nozomi Kirifuji, the “Healer,” is a determined high schooler passionate about the unit’s mission but hiding a secret.
  • Moko Mojiro, the “Cheerful and Lively Super Wrestler,” is an energetic young woman inspiring the unit with her courage.
  • Nigou, the deputy commander, is a gentle robot prone to mistakes but loyal to Sirei.
