Yooka-Replaylee Demo Lands on Nintendo Switch 2

Yooka-Replaylee

PM Studios and Playtonic Games have officially released the Yooka-Replaylee demo on Nintendo Switch 2, giving fans their first hands-on look at the rebuilt 3D platforming adventure. Players can jump, roll, glide, and tongue-whip their way through the early hours—and best of all, demo save files carry over to the full game.

The launch also marks the beginning of the 10-day countdown to the physical Retail Edition, arriving December 18, 2025. This collectible edition includes the full game, a character sticker pack, and a printed map poster for fans who crave a classic keepsake. Pre-orders are now live.

Celebrating Success With a New Accolade Trailer

To hype up the upcoming launch, the studios unveiled a brand-new Accolade Trailer highlighting the glowing reviews and praise Yooka-Replaylee has already earned from critics and fans. The trailer showcases updated visuals, snappy platforming sequences, and the revamped charm that has made the reboot a standout title this season.

A Holiday Treat for Platforming Fans

“From the very start, we wanted Yooka-Replaylee to feel special—not just as a game, but as a keepsake,” shared PM Studios CEO Michael Yum. “The demo gives players a taste of what’s possible, and the physical edition is the full celebration—perfectly timed for the holidays.”
