MANILA – The Honor of Kings Invitational Season 3, currently taking place at SM North Edsa, The Block Atrium, has seen Filipino teams Blacklist International and Elevate advance to the playoffs after successfully navigating the group stages.

Both teams were placed in Group A, ensuring that at least one Filipino team would make it to the playoffs, as the top two teams from each group advance. Elevate kicked off their campaign with a strong 3-1 victory over MENA’s Gen.G, thanks to Miguel “Mitsura” Gavin’s crucial Tempest Dragon steal, which earned them the Dragon Slayer achievement and a solid start.

Next, Elevate faced off against Philippine champions Blacklist International. The Codebreakers quickly demonstrated their prowess, defeating Elevate in just six minutes in the first game of their match-up. Although Elevate managed to win one game, Blacklist International ultimately took the series 3-1.

In the final match of Group A, Blacklist International continued their dominant performance, sweeping Gen.G and securing playoff spots for both Filipino teams.

The last Filipino team in the running, Rough World Era, must secure a win against Indonesia’s Bigetron Esports to join Blacklist International and Elevate in the playoffs.
