One of this year’s most exciting crossover events is almost here. XD Games has officially unveiled the Sword of Convallaria X The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Collaboration, bringing beloved characters from CD Projekt Red’s iconic RPG into the pixel-art tactical world of Sword of Convallaria.

The crossover was revealed with a stunning animated trailer, showing Geralt and Yennefer stepping through a magical portal directly into the vibrant, retro-styled universe of the game.

Collaboration Event Begins November 28 with Four Playable Witcher Heroes

Running from November 28, 2025 until January 22, 2026, the event will introduce four legendary characters—Geralt of Rivia, Yennefer of Vengerberg, Triss Merigold, and Ciri—as fully playable units. Each comes with unique abilities tailored to Sword of Convallaria’s tactical gameplay, offering players new strategies and squad combinations.

This marks one of the game’s largest and most anticipated collaborations to date.

Exclusive Witcher Gear and Skins Available Throughout the Event

Across multiple in-game events, players can obtain a range of powerful weapons and gear inspired by The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, including:

  • Zireael
  • The Obsidian Star
  • Flames of the Fearless
  • Witcher’s Swords

Additionally, special unlockable skins for Geralt, Yennefer, and Triss will be available, giving fans a chance to customize their favorite characters with iconic looks straight from the world of The Witcher.

Revealed During the Special Preview Program

The announcement arrived during the game’s Special Preview Program livestream, which showcased new gameplay, character animations, and a behind-the-scenes look at how the crossover was brought to life. The trailer and livestream highlight the seamless blend between the dark fantasy of The Witcher and the distinct pixel-art charm of Sword of Convallaria.
