HoYoverse’s upcoming cozy life simulation game, Petit Planet, is officially set to launch worldwide on December 4, 2026, bringing its relaxing galactic adventure to PC, iOS, and Android. The developer also confirmed that the game will arrive on Nintendo Switch 2 in 2027, giving more players the opportunity to explore its charming universe.
The announcements were made during the Petit Planet Pre-Launch Special Program on November 1, where HoYoverse showcased the game’s core gameplay features, introduced its colorful cast of Neighbors, and revealed several launch celebrations packed with exclusive rewards.

Build Your Own Planet in HoYoverse’s Cozy Galactic Adventure
In Petit Planet, players step into the role of Planet Tenders, embarking on a journey through the Starsea aboard Oumuamua, a mysterious Starsea Spirit believed to listen to the wishes hidden in people’s hearts.
The adventure begins with players planting a Luca Seed on their very own planet. Over time, the seed grows into a magnificent Luca Arbor, gradually influencing the planet’s environment, seasons, landscape, and ecosystem. This evolving world serves as the foundation for a relaxing life simulation experience centered on creativity, exploration, and friendship.
Players won’t have to experience their new home alone. Among the first characters they will encounter are Mobai, the Planet Coordinator, and Elsasani, a Starsea Racer. As more Neighbors arrive, players can discover their individual stories, build relationships, and turn unexpected encounters into meaningful friendships.
Beyond developing their home planet, Planet Tenders can venture across the Starsea to discover scattered Islets. Those looking for more social activities can also visit the Galactic Bazaar, where they can enjoy games, participate in auctions, and share their own creations with others.

Petit Planet Launch Events Offer Exclusive Rewards
Ahead of its December 4 release, HoYoverse is preparing several community activities and promotional events to celebrate the launch of Petit Planet.
Players can participate in a pre-registration lucky draw through the official website for a chance to win exciting prizes. Regular gameplay will also provide opportunities to collect more than 1,000 clothing and furniture items for free, giving Planet Tenders plenty of ways to customize their characters and surroundings.
One of the featured activities is Besties, Made to Match! Players who invite two friends to join them in pre-registering will each receive an exclusive clothing item, encouraging friends to begin their galactic adventures together.
Meanwhile, the Launch a Planet event, which began on November 1, invites players to design their own planets through a dedicated event website. Participants will have the opportunity to showcase their creativity and compete for surprise grand prizes.
HoYoverse is also preparing the first Petit Planet Seasonal Creation Event, which will begin alongside the game’s global launch. Selected fan creations can earn cash prizes, in-game rewards, and official merchandise.
