MANILA, Philippines – Blacklist International and AURORA stunned champions Falcons AP Bren and Team Liquid Philippines to open Week Six of the Mobile Legends Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines – Season 14.
In a night of sweeps, seventh seed Blacklist International stayed alive for playoffs contention after stunning Falcons AP Bren, 2-0, in the opening match of the week. The win brings them to a 2-8 standing with a chance to still advance to the next round.
On the other match-up of the evening, AURORA wasted no time in snapping their losing streak as they demolished reigning MPL Philippines champions, Team Liquid PH, finishing both games in under 12 minutes to earn a much needed point. They improve to a 6-4 standing, a win away from securing a playoffs spot.
Week Six of the MPL Philippines Season 14 Regular Season will continue tomorrow, September 21, with RSG Philippines versus Blacklist International at 2:30 PM, TNC versus Fnatic ONIC Philippines at 5 PM, and closing the night is Team Liquid Philippines versus Smart Omega at 7:30 PM.
