Solo indie developer nopopo, known for Devolver Tumble Time, has announced his debut Steam PC game, Castle V Castle. This stylish single-player 1v1 castle battler is set to launch later this year, with a demo and reveal trailer now available.
Castle V Castle is a turn-based game where players tear down enemy castles brick by brick. By spending resources to play cards, you can either boost your own castle or knock your opponent’s down. Victory is achieved by building your castle to the clouds or reducing your opponent’s to rubble.
Players can curate their deck with reward cards over the course of a run, earning XP and unlocking new modes, reward cards, and more. The game also features a daily challenge mode, allowing players to test their skills in randomized battles and build a Wordle-style winning streak.
Key features include thrilling 1v1 card duels, wacky yet stylish visuals, and a mix of wizards, magic, and robots. Players can look forward to new modes, prizes, rewards, and daily challenges.
Castle V Castle is funded by Slay the Spire developer Casey Yano through Outersloth, the indie game fund from Among Us creators Innersloth, and published by Future Friends Games, known for titles like Exo One and The Cabin Factory.
