Converge FiberX Student League Expands to Visayas and Mindanao in 2026

Student League

Converge FiberX is taking its student-focused gaming and technology initiative nationwide as the Converge FiberX Student League officially expands to Visayas and Mindanao in 2026. Building on the success of its first season, the program aims to empower more Filipino students to discover their passion, sharpen their skills, and turn their personal “X” into real-world opportunities.

Finding the “X” That Drives the Next Generation

The FiberX Student League was born from a simple but powerful idea: every student has an “X”—a talent, drive, or story waiting to be unlocked. What began as a concept quickly evolved into a nationwide movement, drawing thousands of students from colleges and universities across the Philippines.

From this growing community, 100 students were selected as Student League Ambassadors. Among them, **10 standout individuals—dubbed the ChosenX—**emerged as representatives of creativity, passion, and determination. Their journey officially began at DimensionX, the kickoff event that marked the launch of the Converge FiberX Student League.

Empowering Students Through Gaming, Technology, and Experience

Throughout the season, Student League Ambassadors were given opportunities to explore and elevate their chosen paths:

Battlestation Raid: Powering Student Potential

Five ambassadors received major PC upgrades through the Super FiberX Battlestation Raid. Converge personally visited their homes, transforming everyday setups into high-performance gaming and creative battlestations—underscoring the brand’s commitment to enabling students through cutting-edge technology.

Learning Beyond Borders in Thailand

Another five ambassadors joined the Converge team on a learning trip to Thailand, where they exchanged ideas with fellow students from other countries. The experience culminated in a visit to the Thailand Game Show, one of Southeast Asia’s largest gaming conventions, exposing participants to the broader regional gaming and esports scene.

2026: A Bigger Year for the FiberX Student League

After visiting 60 schools and engaging with over 18,000 students in 2025, Converge is setting its sights even higher in 2026. The expansion to Visayas and Mindanao signals a renewed commitment to making the Student League more inclusive and accessible.

Converge plans to visit colleges and universities nationwide, meeting students, hearing their stories, and helping them find their X. A new batch of ChosenX will be selected, alongside a fresh season of Battlestation Raid, featuring eye-catching PC builds presented by top gaming and esports personalities.

Converge’s Vision: Technology as a Tool for Dreams

“Converge wants to enable these students to reach their goals, and we want to be part of their journey,” said Sandra Tubale Dingal, AVP & Head of Consumer Segment Marketing at Converge. “From finding their X to making it a reality, we want to help co-create their milestones and show that technology can truly improve lives.”

Echoing this sentiment, Orange Ramirez, VP and Brand & Marketing Head of Converge, emphasized the heart of the initiative:
“The FiberX Student League is our X. We’re proud of the ambassadors for growing through challenges and finding their voice, their people, and their passion.”

Creative X Labs and a New App Coming in 2026

Alongside the expanded Student League, Converge also announced the rollout of Creative X Labs, designed to bring immersive gaming and technology experiences to more communities across the country.

To complement the campaign, a multi-function Converge app is slated to launch around March 2026. The app will feature minigames, reward systems, and referral incentives—allowing students and users to level up their overall Converge Xperience.

The Journey to Find Your X Continues

With nationwide roadshows, new ambassadors, and expanded programs on the horizon, the Converge FiberX Student League 2026 is shaping up to be bigger, bolder, and more impactful. For students striving for something more—whether in gaming, content creation, or technology—the search for X is just getting started.
