Convergence Fest Brings Teamfight Tactics and Riftbound Together in Las Vegas This December

Convergence

Teamfight Tactics and Riftbound are joining forces for Convergence Fest, a brand-new multi-day live event that will bring two of Riot Games’ competitive communities together under one roof in Las Vegas this December.

Scheduled for December 11–13, 2026, Convergence Fest will combine the TFT Vegas Open and the Riftbound North American Regional Championship for the first time, creating Riot’s biggest combined live event to date.

Convergence Fest Combines TFT and Riftbound Competition

Announced by Riot Games earlier this month, Convergence Fest is designed to celebrate both competition and the communities surrounding Teamfight Tactics and Riftbound.

The event’s two headline tournaments will run simultaneously throughout the three-day festival.

The TFT Vegas Open will mark the return of a major Teamfight Tactics open-bracket esports tournament to the United States after a three-year absence. The competition will bring top TFT players to Las Vegas for live, in-person matches.

Meanwhile, the Riftbound North America Regional Championship will serve as a major stop in Riftbound Organized Play. Players who finish in the top 64 during Regional Qualifiers will compete for the Regional Championship title and a chance to advance toward the Riftbound World Championship.

Additional details regarding tournament formats and participation are expected to be revealed at a later date.

A Full Weekend of Games, Panels and Community Activities

Convergence Fest is set to go beyond its two main competitive events. Attendees can expect a packed weekend of activities across both games, with the event bringing casual and competitive programming together in one venue.

The schedule will feature an Artist Alley, side events, a prize wall, game shows, developer panels, showmatches, cosplay activities and meet-and-greets.

Event-exclusive merchandise will also be available, giving fans plenty of opportunities to take home unique Convergence Fest memorabilia.

With the event spread across three days, attendees will be able to move between competitive matches and community-focused activities throughout the weekend.

Convergence Fest Tickets Include Exclusive Riftbound Card and TFT Drops

General admission tickets will come with a commemorative Convergence Fest Riftbound card and all official and co-streamer in-game drops for Teamfight Tactics.

Fans looking for additional perks can also purchase the General Admission+ Bundle. This package includes all Attendee Pass benefits, along with one-hour early entry, a dedicated merchandise line and a custom festival crossbody bag.

The bundle also includes a Special Edition Teemo Hat, Convergence Fest water bottle and holiday ornament.

Fans can also purchase access to the Post Finals Celebration, a special closing party hosted by DJ Sona.

Fan First Registration Is Already Open

Fan First registration for Convergence Fest is now open, giving fans the best opportunity to secure tickets before the general sale.

After registering and completing verification, fans will receive a confirmation email and a notification when their designated purchase window opens in August.

Ticket sales will take place through rolling purchase windows in August, while the general ticket sale is scheduled to open later in September 2026.

Fans interested in attending can register through the official Convergence Fest website ahead of the upcoming ticket windows.

Convergence Fest Is a Major Moment for TFT and Riftbound

By bringing Teamfight Tactics and Riftbound together in a single live event, Convergence Fest represents a major expansion of Riot Games’ approach to community-focused competition.

TFT fans will get the chance to experience a major live open tournament in the United States, while Riftbound players compete for a place on the road to the World Championship. At the same time, the broader festival format gives fans a chance to celebrate both games beyond the tournament stage.

With Convergence Fest taking place in Las Vegas from December 11 to 13, 2026, Riot Games is setting the stage for a major weekend of competition, community and gaming culture.
