Fans of the magicpunk action RPG Crystal of Atlan have a brand-new way to experience combat. The cross-platform MMO has officially launched the Inventor, a new base class built around magitech machinery, tactical gadgets, and high-powered mechanized combat.
Released in the latest update from Skystone Games, the Inventor arrives alongside two specialized branch classes—Empirica and Rhapsodia—introducing fresh combat mechanics and a unique playstyle for players exploring the magical world of Atlan.
Meet the Inventor: Jodi and Her Magitech Arsenal
The Inventor class is represented by Jodi, an enthusiastic engineer who recently arrived in the technologically advanced City of Magitech.
Instead of charging directly into battle, Jodi uses Magitech mechs and engineered gadgets to control the battlefield from a distance. Armed with tools, mechanical companions, and powerful devices, the Inventor class focuses on strategic positioning and overwhelming enemies with advanced technology.
This new class adds a distinct flavor to Crystal of Atlan’s action-driven MMO combat system by blending engineering, robotics, and magicpunk aesthetics.
Two New Branch Classes: Empirica and Rhapsodia
Players who choose the Inventor will be able to specialize into two powerful branch classes, each offering a different combat style.
Empirica – Long-Range Mech Commander
Empirica focuses on long-range combat, deploying multiple armed Magitech mechs to deal heavy damage from afar. Players can control the battlefield while staying safely away from frontline encounters.
Key features include:
- Rapid mech deployment
- Long-range firepower
- Consistent damage output from a distance
Empirica is ideal for players who prefer tactical positioning and sustained ranged attacks.
Rhapsodia – Hybrid Mech Combat Specialist
Rhapsodia introduces a mid-range physical DPS playstyle with two unique combat stances.
Players can either fight independently or enter the cockpit of a powerful mech, drastically changing their combat capabilities and playstyle mid-battle.
This dynamic stance-switching system offers:
- Mech-based combat transformations
- Close-to-mid-range DPS gameplay
- Flexible combat strategy
The Rhapsodia branch is designed for players who enjoy adaptability and aggressive mechanical warfare.

Originating from the Port Islands, this small but nimble creature is known for its dedication to Kung Fu and sparring. Despite its compact size, the Martial Panda is quick, agile, and fully integrated into the world’s human society.
Players can now collect the Martial Panda as a new in-game pet companion.
